Paper Submission

International Journal of Business and Technopreneurship (IJBT) publishes regular research articles, case studies, critical review and short notes. We encourage researchers to publish their theoretical and empirical results in as much detail as possible. Contributions should fall within the scope of the journal outlined in the statement of Aim and Scope.

Publication Frequency
The journal is published three times in a year: in February, June, and October. The publication schedule is strongly followed.

Article Processing Fee
All articles published in International Journal of Business and Technopreneurship (IJBT) are published in full open access with no publication fee.

Types of Articles
The journal welcomes submission of full-length research articles, case studies, review articles, and short notes.
 
General
Manuscripts submitted to our journals must be written in English. Papers accepted for publication vary from 8 to 20 pages (at least 4000 words but no more than 12000 words, inclusive of references). The main text usually can be divided into separated sections, organised by Introduction, Literature Review, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussions, Conclusion, Acknowledgement, and References.

The electronic manuscript shall be prepared in accordance with the ‘Manuscript Preparation Guide’. Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis), it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, its publication is approved by all authors and that, if accepted, will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language, without the written consent of the Publisher.

All submitted manuscripts will undergo peer review. The peer-reviewed original research manuscripts and research review manuscripts of substance will be published online. The Editors reserve the right to edit or otherwise make necessary amendments deemed fit, but authors will receive proofs for approval before publication.

Paper Selection and Publication Process
  • Upon receipt of paper submission, the Editor will send an e-mail of confirmation to the corresponding within 10 working days. If you fail to receive this confirmation, your submission/e-mail may be missed.
  • We use a single-blind system for peer-review; reviewers' identities remain anonymous to authors. The paper will be peer-reviewed by two to four experts; one is an editorial staff and the other is an external reviewer. The review process may take 3 to 4 weeks.
  • Notification of the result of the review will be sent by e-mail.
Please also adhere to the following instructions:
  • Please add the citations based on the SCOPUS-indexed articles and list them in the references section.
  • Please check on the citations as given in the manuscript and make them listed in the references section, and vice versa. Kindly use Mendeley or Endnotes while doing the references.
  • Please check your English editing (UK English) and plagiarism status to be at the similarity index at 20% and below.
  • Please follow the IJBT MS Word template.
  • Once accepted, kindly fill out the IJBT Copyright Form and send it back to us.
  • Please use track changes to edit, add or revise the manuscript OR please prepare a separate document, IJBT Table of Corrections indicating the revisions that you have made following the suggested comments, or justify your actions if you have not complied with the recommended suggestions (such as not complying with the reviewers' comments).

 

Paper Title
A title of no more than 20 words should be brief, specific, and informative.

Author Details
Full name for all authors should be given; The names of multiple authors are separated by a comma; Provide the full affiliation for each author including academic affiliation (or postal address), city, postcode, and country; If multiple authors have contributed to the article, details of the corresponding author should be clear. Email address is only compulsory for the corresponding author.

Proofs
Page proofs will be sent to the corresponding author for final checking. Corrections to the proofs must be restricted to printer’s errors: any other changes to the text, in equations or grammar, may be charged to the author. Proofs should be returned to the editors within three days of receipt to minimise the risk of the author’s contribution having to be held over to a later issue. The editors do not accept responsibility for the correctness of published contents. It is the author’s responsibility to check the content at the proof stage.

Plagiarism Checking
A policy of screening for plagiarism shall be performed using Turnitin.com platform. Authors shall attach the Turnitin report with each submission.

Cost of Publication
Publication in this journal is free of charge.
